SKY EYE was originally designed for ultralights flying about 75 M.P.H. or less. A sturdier, custom clamp is required for higher speed aircraft. Please contact factory for your specific requirements.

Shown here is a prototype wing strut mount for a Cessna. This is the standard SKY EYE, but with a clamp customized to the airfoil shape of the strut. An expedient, but effective, measure is to blanket the camera in bubblewrap for protection against wind and vibration. This mounting configuration allows unobstructed imaging of pilot as well as fore, aft, down and side views.
